So, what's there to tell about me?
I'm Laura, 28 years old and from Germany.
Here at DeanDamage.com, I'm a member of the DamageControl. So if there's a problem or a question you have, just go ahead and sent me a message through the "Contact Us" link and I'll try to help out. I'm in Germany, so if you're somewhere in Europe, chances are good I'm online at the same time as you are.
I'm not always easy to reach during the weekend, but during the week I'm pretty much always around
I'm still relatively new to the fandom. Supernatural never caught my interest when it started airing here in Germany. Then a few months back, Isis_girl started bugging me to watch it. She kept using avatars of that strange guy with the name I could never remember on MSN, and when my first judgement of him was "he's slightly cross-eyed, isn't he?" I learned the hard way that yes, it is possible to get yelled at over an instant messenger.
In penance for that faux-pas, I watched the Pilot of Supernatural online. And then Wendigo. And then Dead in the Water. By the time I started watchig Phantom Traveler, I had ordered the season 1 and 2 box-sets on amazon. I watched everything that had been aired until the writer's strike stopped production in a little over a week.
And that's how it started.
By now I'm heavily addicted. I'm also able to remember Jensen Ackles' name by now, and have come to think of his slight cross-eyedness as an adorable trait (because honestly, everything about that guy is adorable).
I'm a big sucker for the brotherly relationship on the show, though I appreciate the humour and the action just as well. I'm a Dean girl through and through, but since I seem to put him out of commission pretty quickly in my stories, most of them have turned out very Sam-centric so far.
DeanDamage will be the place where I always post my Dean-whump stories first, just like Psychfic.com is the site that gets all my Psych stories first. I always upload everything on fanfiction.net as well, but often it takes me a while.
Nevertheless, there's some Supernatural stories in my account there that don't fit the DeanDamage guidelines concerning the Dean-whump, so be sure to check them out by following the link above.
Else I dabble in making graphics at times. I'm not the world's most artsy person, especially in the face of what some others on this site here are capable of, but I enjoy making the occasional banner or wallpaper.
I'm around on MSN for most of the day, so if you're in the mood for chatting, about Supernatural, Psych, life, the universe and everything, just chat me up at any time.

Nearly everybody has their weak spot. A stray pollen here, the wrong food there, and things go down the drain pretty quickly.
I challenge you to write a Dean whump story about allergies!
Take the concept of an anaphylactic shock and work with it - I don't have any closer specifications. It can be a pollen or something natural, the wrong food, an allergy to some creature's poison, to medication, just let Dean's body betray him and make Sam worry about him, that's all I ask.
You know you want to write it.

The Impala. A sycamore tree. Dean in between.
You guess where this is going. I challenge you to have Dean crash the Impala (for reasons up to your choosing) against a sycamore tree (yes, it has to be a sycamore tree).
No Sammy in sight, Dean is trapped but still conscious. That's the scenario.
And I think since this is hurting both Dean and the Metallicar, if you write this story we all get two whumps for the price of one.

See, hear, touch, taste, feel. It's the five senses that make us complete in everyday life. We'd be lost without them.
So what would happen to somebody if one or more of their senses was taken away?
It's been done before, I know. But that doesn't mean it cannot be done again, right? It just needs to be done right.
So I challenge you to write a story robbing Dean of one of his senses. Whump ensues, right? Because whump always ensues.

Because there's nothing more frightening than to see a brother stop breathing.
I challenge you to do exactly that - write a story in which Dean stops breathing. The reasons could be various and are entirely up to you. He could drown, for example. Or maybe you want to write that missing scene for season 1 "Faith" - because after that electro-shock I'm fairly sure that it wasn't just a matter of Sam calling an ambulance.
Go with whump of your chosing. The only conditions are that your story contains a Dean who isn't breathing, a Sam who's freaking out, and a healthy dose of CPR. That's all I'm asking ;-)

Hypothermia.
It's been done before, I know. But it's fun :D
Ice, snow or water - there's many ways to get really cold. I challenge you to write me a story where exactly that happens to Dean. Lock him in a freezer, drop him in icy water, go overboard with it. Just give me hypothermia stories with lots and loads of freezing Dean and worried Sam.

Sometimes, at the peak of a hunt, things get confusing. Everything happens at once, and the fragment of a moment is not enough time to undo a decision. Or the pull of an index finger on the trigger of a gun.
Sam swears that he was aiming his gun at the creature, but the bullet ended up hitting someone else entirely - his brother.
Show me what happens when Sam accidentally shoots Dean during a hunt - the whump, the guilt, everything. You know you want to...

If you're a hunter like Sam and Dean, digging up graves is in the job description. Getting buried in one however, that's a new experience even for them. Especially since whoever buried Dean didn't particularly care about the fact that he didn't fulfil the number 1 requirement for burial - being dead.
I want you to write me the story of how Dean ends up six feet under, buried alive. It's dark, it's confined, and his air won't last for very long. The only thing he has is a lighter and - his gun.
His only hope is Sam, outside, frantically searching for his brother - hoping to find him before his air runs out.
And now go, write me that story ;-)
